Welcome!
The Gresham Living web site is under construction as we add community resources, calendar items, and more.
When we are done, this site will contain information on what the neighborhood associations are doing, how you can get involved, etc.
If you're with a Neighborhood Association in Gresham, and you'd like to get your Association online, please contact Jenni Simonis. We're offering free web hosting services to the neighborhood associations in Gresham, which includes a Content Management System (CMS) so you can easily keep your site updated without html knowledge. It also allows for input from community members directly through the site.
Neighborhood Associations
From the city of Gresham's web site:
The City of Gresham began recognizing neighborhood associations formally in 1989. Since that time, the City has worked to build partnerships and community with these community-based organizations.
Today there are 16 recognized neighborhood associations in Gresham.
What is a Neighborhood Association?
A neighborhood association is a group of people organized within a geographical area with the purpose of acting on issues affecting neighborhood and community livability. A neighborhood association is an independent, citizen-organized group that is separate from the City of Gresham. Every resident, business and property owner within an association's boundaries is a voting member of the association and there are no membership dues.
